Glasses Care Guide
Your glasses not only help you see more clearly, but also improve your overall image. To ensure that your glasses are always in the best condition, please follow the maintenance suggestions below to care for your glasses:
1. Clean the lenses regularly
a. Wash the lenses with a special glasses cleaning solution every day. Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners or soaps, as these chemicals may damage the lens coating.
b. Use a microfiber glasses cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using rough materials such as clothing and paper towels to prevent scratches on the lenses.
c. When encountering stains that are difficult to clean, rinse the lenses with clean water first, then gently wipe them with cleaning solution.
2. Store your glasses properly
a. When not in use, please store your glasses in a glasses case to avoid scratches on the lenses or deformation of the frames.
b. Avoid placing glasses in a high temperature environment, such as in a car or in direct sunlight. Excessive temperature may cause deformation of the lenses or damage to the coating.
3. Wear and remove correctly
a. When wearing and removing glasses, hold the sides of the temples with both hands to prevent deformation of the frame caused by removing with one hand.
b. Avoid wearing glasses on top of your head, as this will cause the frames to lose their shape.
4. Adjust the frames regularly
a. Long-term wearing may cause the frames to loosen or deform. It is recommended to go to a professional optical shop for adjustment every 6 months to ensure that the glasses always fit the face and are comfortable to wear.
b. If you find that the temples or nose pads are loose, adjust them in time to avoid affecting the wearing experience.
5. Avoid contact with chemicals
a. Avoid contact with hairspray, perfume or other chemicals when wearing glasses, as these ingredients may damage the frame or lens coating.
b. If you accidentally come into contact, wash it immediately with clean water and wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth.
6. Handle metal and plastic frames with care
a. Metal-framed glasses should avoid long-term contact with moisture to prevent rust.
b. Plastic-framed glasses should avoid high temperatures to prevent material deformation.
7. Protect lens coating
If your lenses have anti-blue light or anti-ultraviolet coating, you need to take extra care to avoid damaging the coating. Use professional cleaners instead of ordinary cleaning products to clean.
8. Emergency treatment
If there is a minor problem with the glasses (such as a loose screw), you can use a small glasses screwdriver to repair it yourself. However, if you encounter a major problem (such as a broken lens or a severely deformed frame), you should contact a professional glasses store for repair in time.
